Many people think gossip blogger Perez Hilton had it coming when he was recently banned from TikTok. The platform has permanently deleted his account for violating community guidelines such as bullying, which he doesn't believe he ever did. Perez says he's "devastated" but the internet remains unsympathetic to his emotional pleas.

After all, Perez has always been notorious for bullying celebrities. Remember when he ruined his friendship with Lady Gaga by asking her terrible questions that made her cry during an interview? The Mother Monster also said in a now-deleted tweet that Perez kept stalking her after that horrible interview, saying that his family even rented an apartment close to her home.  Yikes.

In 2010, amid all of Perez Hilton's controversial feuds with celebrities, he finally vowed to stop bullying in an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. So what exactly got him banned on TikTok this time?

At First, Perez Had No Idea What He Did Wrong

Although it was clear to the TikTok community that Perez deserved the ban, the 42-year-old celebrity gossip had no idea why it happened. The company sent him an email explaining that the reasons for his account deletion were bullying, slurs and hate speech, nudity, and sexual content. Perez denied all of these violations but says he's sorry if he's ever hurt anyone.

Perez doesn't seem remorseful of possibly offending anyone, though. Instead of sincerely apologizing or promising not to bully anyone anymore, Perez's only takeaway from the incident was that he wouldn't have talked about the top creators on TikTok if given the chance to get back on the platform. Guess he'd just go back to insulting actors and pop stars again. That's how clueless he is of how he's become a toxic media personality.

Perez Begs Charli D'Amelio To Get Him Back On TikTok

Perez wants to go back to TikTok so bad that he swallowed his pride, sobbed, and begged Charli D'Amelio to help him in a YouTube video. That's after starting a feud with the TikTok star's family when he called out Charli's parents for letting their 15-year-old daughter dance to "sexual lyrics" while wearing a bikini.

Perez has a lot of issues with minors, which prompted the start of a campaign against his predatory behavior. We can't blame them, his fixation on attacking teenagers like Charli and other young TikTok stars is just weird.

After releasing his tearful YouTube video, Perez kept posting screenshots of headlines about it on his Instagram. Again, he doesn't seem that devastated at all. He just keeps thanking different publications for making him famous like an angsty teenager who did something horrible but takes people calling them out as plain haters who are only making them more popular.

Fans Actually Petitioned To Ban Perez From TikTok

For the record, Perez wasn't guilty of all the community guideline violations TikTok cited in the email. However, the celebrity gossip's comments on Charli D'Amelio's parents caused fans to create an online petition on Change.org, calling for the platform to ban Perez. It had 228,300 signatures, but of course, that doesn't mean TikTok's actions were actually a response to that.

Still, it's possible that the fans did a mass reporting spree, selecting different violations just to get Perez out of the platform. Of course, TikTok would respond to such in-app reports. Charli D'Amelio's fans must have had enough of Perez Hilton making a big deal out of everything. Frankly, at this point, who hasn't?
