In May, Sofia Richie and Scott Disick stunned fans with the announcement of their split after three years of dating.

The couple, who most people thought wouldn’t even last half a year, certainly shared a strong bond, and despite all that was said, the former model certainly cared for Disick despite people’s opinions about their wide age gap.

Though it’s unclear as to what exactly led to their breakup, what’s been confirmed was that the father-of-three had checked himself into a rehab facility for emotional issues and allegedly suffering a drug-related relapse.

With sources claiming that the former couple isn’t looking to get back together, it’s being speculated by fans whether or not Disick would be open to the idea of giving love another try with Kardashian.

Will Kourtney Get Back With Scott?

The pair shared an on-again, off-again relationship for close to a decade before calling it quits for a final time in 2015.

They are the proud parents of three children: Mason, Penelope, and Reign, and though they have maintained a friendly relationship for the sake of their kids, their get-togethers in recent years have only been for their family - nothing else.

Before going their separate ways, however, Richie had reportedly confided in Kardashian about her boyfriend’s conduct at the time, alarming her that things hadn’t been the same as Disick’s behavior was beginning to spiral out of control.

“She was extremely concerned with the choices he was making and how out of control he became very quickly,” an insider told E! News.

Richie felt the only person that could help her in the situation was Kardashian given that she had dealt with her ex’s troubling actions for close to a decade.

This hadn’t been the first time Disick had sought help at a rehab facility, but the TV personality acted accordingly on the matter, yet she still felt saddened knowing that the father of her children had once again relapsed.

“Kourtney was very upset, and knew something was up by his unresponsiveness to matters and convos that pertained to the kids. She had been through this before many times, and put a halt to it immediately. She ultimately gave him an ultimatum and he had no choice but to seek help.”

Now that Disick is single again, fans are wondering whether there’s a chance the two could potentially reconcile - especially after sources told In Touch magazine that the former pair were “getting closer by the day” since Richie was out of the picture.

“The feelings between them are still very much there. Neither of them wants to jump into a relationship right now, so they’re seeing how things go. No one would be surprised if they do.”

Meanwhile, an insider told People that after going their separate ways, Richie was finding it hard to move on from the man she had just spent three years of her life with. This had been her longest relationship to date, so it’s understandable as to why she would feel so attached to Disick, even after their split.

But according to the source, the model-turned-actress is keeping her head high while dealing with the scrutiny on social media. She’s “still processing the breakup,” the publication noted.

"It was a serious relationship, not some fling, and she was there for Scott through some tough times," says the source. "It hurts to see all the speculation about Scott and Kourtney, but she is so young and gets so much attention. She'll be totally fine.”
