Every wrestler has their reasons for either liking or disliking WWE, or for having a reputation as being someone that isn't all that trustworthy - be it in or outside of the ring. Today, we're going to take a deeper look into that.
Some of the guys on this list are going to seem like pretty obvious selections, but it really does depend on how you look at it. After all, many other names could've featured, but they always seem to go crawling back to Vince McMahon and the WWE in the end - whether it be for their own reputation, or for the paycheck.
Enjoy the article folks and like always be sure to share it with a friend. Here are wrestlers nobody wants to work with and those that refuse to work for Vince.
20 NOBODY WANTS TO WORK WITH - New Jack
The less said about New Jack the better, in all honesty, but all you need to do is go and take one long, hard look at his history in the business.
From stabbing people to causing all kinds of infections, this man is just a bit of a psychopath and you’re better off staying away from him.
19 NOBODY WANTS TO WORK WITH - Virgil
Virgil is well known for possessing a gimmick of being someone that nobody really wants to work with, and we aren’t so sure why that is.
Some will argue that it’s because of his personality, whereas others just think it is a meme that has slightly gotten out of control.
18 NOBODY WANTS TO WORK WITH - Enzo Amore
Enzo Amore’s allegations that led to his dismissal from WWE can be highlighted as one of the primary reasons for this entry, but then you’ve also got to consider the very real possibility that his unbelievable overconfidence is the biggest thing holding him back from succeeding in the business right now.
17 REFUSE WWE - CM Punk
CM Punk’s podcast with Colt Cabana from back in late 2014 quite literally tells you all that you need to know regarding how he feels about WWE.
If you want an even clearer picture, go and find out all about the lawsuit from the company that was designed specifically to try and bring Punk to his knees.
16 NOBODY WANTS TO WORK WITH - Alberto Del Rio
The aggressive nature of Del Rio outside of the ring is bad enough and is probably one of the reasons why he’s transitioning back over into mixed martial arts.
The guy just comes across as someone you wouldn’t invite over for a beer, and that’s never a good sign, really.
15 NOBODY WANTS TO WORK WITH - Hulk Hogan
Hulk Hogan starred in a sex tape, has said some really offensive things over the years including racist remarks, and is known for being a bit of a douche behind the scenes.
To be honest, this feels like the most obvious entry of them all thus far, and it’s not even close.
14 NOBODY WANTS TO WORK WITH - Paige
Let’s make one thing crystal clear: this is completely unwarranted and undeserved, because Paige’s private life is her private life, and she should never be made to feel how she did.
With that being said, such an event can tarnish your reputation when it comes to brand deals, work opportunities and things of that nature.
13 REFUSE WWE - The Young Bucks
A move to WWE was on the table last year with the company offering the Bucks every commodity under the sun, with the intention of signing them to a long-term contract.
In the end, though, they signed for All Elite Wrestling, and it truly feels like they aren’t going to be heading to the big time anytime soon.
12 NOBODY WANTS TO WORK WITH - Brock Lesnar
We believe that the allure of working with Brock Lesnar is starting to wear off, mainly because of his reputation for not really giving a damn about professional wrestling anymore.
The guy just doesn’t put 100% into all of his work from what we can see, and receiving a stiff shot from the Beast Incarnate doesn’t look like fun.
11 NOBODY WANTS TO WORK WITH - Lana
Lana was one of the biggest things going in WWE just a few short years ago, and no, we aren’t exaggerating when we say that.
As time has gone on, though, she’s been far too opinionated on social media – and it doesn’t help that she still isn’t all too good in the ring.
10 NOBODY WANTS TO WORK WITH - Scott Steiner
Scott Steiner was relevant two decades ago and that, my friends, is the tea. This enhanced (rumored) tag wrestler turned singles flop has never felt like the kind of man you can rely on to go on a strong run in the main event scene, and we don’t see that changing any time soon.
9 REFUSE WWE - Kenny Omega
Much like The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega was given the chance to make a long-awaited return to WWE programming last year.
Instead of going down that route, though, he has taken it upon himself to help steer the ship for All Elite Wrestling as they prepare for the start of the Wednesday Night Wars.
8 NOBODY WANTS TO WORK WITH – Mistico
For those who don’t know, Mistico was formerly known as Sin Cara during his brief spell in WWE.
He was signed as the next big international star, to the point where some fans wanted to see him face John Cena at WrestleMania. As we now know, though, he was a botching machine.
7 NOBODY WANTS TO WORK WITH - The Great Khali
At this point, The Great Khali isn’t exactly moving around all too well, which is enough of a reason for him to be featured in this list in itself.
The Indian sensation may have been a giant but he never worked well in the main event scene, mainly because he couldn’t actually wrestle.
6 NOBODY WANTS TO WORK WITH - Bob Holly
Why would you want to work with a man who went out of his way, during his prime, to make life difficult for others?
Bob Holly was a locker room leader which we can somewhat understand, but there are far too many stories out there about his actions behind the scenes (and during his Brock Lesnar feud) for us to like him.
5 REFUSE WWE - Kota Ibushi
Kota Ibushi actually did work with WWE during the Cruiserweight Classic, but the divide came afterward when he was offered a full-time deal with the company.
He refused, instead deciding to keep building his legacy over in Japan – which seemed to work out pretty well for him, in the end.
4 NOBODY WANTS TO WORK WITH - Lio Rush
Some said Rush was difficult backstage and really cocky, whereas Rush himself seems to believe that he’s the victim in all of this.
Whether you believe him or not is irrelevant, because it seems like just a matter of time before he returns to the independent scene once and for all.
3 NOBODY WANTS TO WORK WITH - Alicia Fox
Unfortunately for Alicia Fox, once the reports are out there, it’s hard to silence them.
If it wasn’t bad enough that she was incredibly irritating on Total Divas, Fox’s antics behind the scenes have led to her not really getting all too many opportunities on WWE television as of late.
2 NOBODY WANTS TO WORK WITH - Sexy Star
Sexy Star legitimately injured her opponent during a match, attempted to defend herself, and now wants to make a transition over into mixed martial arts.
She isn’t the kind of person that belongs at the top, or anywhere near, a wrestling promotion of significance and we genuinely believe in that.
1 REFUSE WWE – Ryback
Ryback has told multiple stories over the years about how he was treated during his time in WWE, and regardless of whether or not you believe any of them, it’s not exactly hard to understand why he still isn’t a massive fan of working with the company in any way, shape or form.
