Zendaya has been known to rock any red carpet look, especially when attending the extraordinary Met Gala. When news broke that she wouldn't be able to make it since she's filming her show Euphoria, fans were livid.
This HBO Max series is in the middle of filming for season two so the 25-year-old actress will miss the biggest night in fashion this year. She revealed the news to her Dune costar, Timothée Chalamet, who also happens to be co-chair for the 2021 Met Gala.
"I will unfortunately not be able to attend because I'll be working for Euphoria," Zendaya continued, explaining, "I got my time off to come here and do this Venice Film Festival experience, which has been really, really special. My fans are going to be very upset with me," Zendaya told Extra TV on Wednesday. Chalamet, 25, interjected, "Bummer, bummer."

The 2020 Met Gala was canceled due to the pandemic and then moved to May 2021 and then pushed to its current date: September 13th, 2021. Fans rather cancel the whole event than watch a Met Gala without this fashion icon.
